The Midvale Arts annual Literary and Visual Arts contest/events are held in the summer each year. Details below on dates and how to participate.
2024 Visual Arts Contest

An individual can enter up to three pieces
in each category listed that they qualify for. Each piece will require this verification identifying the work as your own.
One form is required for each art entry.
Art must be dropped off at:
695 West Center Street, Midvale UT
on July 27 between 10 am -12 pm
and must be picked up by the artist or authorized individual July 31 at 9 pm.
2024 Literary Arts Contest
Deadline to sign up to participate is 11:59 p.m. July 7, 2024. You will be emailed your prompts on July 11, 2024. Final submissions of your writing entry is due no later than 11:59 p.m. on Sunday July 14, 2024.

Categories:
Flash Fiction (author will have 48 hours to write a short story based on the prompts sent)
Poetry (author will have 48 hours to write a poem that includes words sent)
Youth (same as above for 18 and under)
