Auditions will be held for the Missoula Children's Theatre (MCT) production of TREASURE ISLAND Monday, September 13 from 4 - 6 pm at the Midvale Performing Arts Center, 695 West Center Street (7720 South). Those auditioning should arrive at 4 pm and plan to stay for the full two hours. Some of the cast members will be asked to stay for a rehearsal immediately following the auditions.

Follow young Jim Hawkins and his friends as they sail a dangerous sea of adventure with Long John Silver and his pirate band at the helm when the Missoula Children's Theatre (MCT) and over 50 local students present an original musical adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s epic novel TREASURE ISLAND. Among the roles to be cast are Jim Hawkins, his six sisters, a rollicking Pirate Crew, Jim’s Ruffian Friends, seacoast Villagers and cuddly Gulls. Students grades K - 12 are encouraged to audition. No advance preparation is necessary. Assistant Directors will also be cast to aid in rehearsals throughout the week and to take on essential backstage responsibilities.

The Missoula Children's Theatre (MCT) touring productions are complete with costumes, scenery, props and makeup.  MCT Tour Actor/Directors will conduct rehearsals throughout the week from 4:00 - 8:30 pm each day.
TREASURE ISLAND will be presented on Saturday, September 18 at the Midvale Performing Arts Center. The Missoula Children's Theatre residency is brought to you by the Midvale Arts Council.
